First Bass of the year. It was pretty chilly out today but I decided to go and try and get after em at my favorite little pond. I had been there a few weeks ago just when the ice was melting and I didn't get anything. It was windy and cold today around low 40's. I caught him on a senko texas rigged with a 3/16 tungsten weight. Then I didn't get a single bite rest of the time. I tried lipless cranks for about a half hour and then a shaky head for a while but I didn't get any hits. He was a good size about a 2 1/2 - 3 lber. Beautiful colors too.
