Today both my aunt and uncle had a day off and they took us to Frankish Schweiss. We visited a castle and a cave with lots of dripstones. It was an awesome day.

These pictures are from this Monday sorry for not putting them up earlier. Monday we went to see a wealthy family summer home in Nurnberg from the 17th and 18th century. Then we went to the underground tunnels where a brewery brewed their beer. These tunnels were also used in WWII for bomb shelters.

Today was a relaxing day. Manfred's parents and some of their friends came over for lunch and coffee and we spent almost the entire day inside. It was raining all day so it was a good day for it. We needed the rest too. At the end of the day we took a drive into Nurnburg and went to the area where there is a museum for WWII and a huge area where Hitler held his parades and rallies. The place was huge and it was really strange standing at the podium where he gave his speeches. Tomorrow hopefully it wont be raining and cold and we can go into Nurnberg some more or maybe visit another nearby city.

Here are some pictures from Regensburg. We were there on Saturday and had a tour of the city by small trolly. Its very well known for this bridge and we walked around the old town and had lunch and a few drinks. The weather was better and it did not rain.

Hi,

We went to Wurzburg it is about an hour away from Nurnburg. We went on a city tour where they told us that the whole city was destroyed in WWII. They had to rebuild everything back up. They used some of the old stones that they found to rebuild it but it mostly is a new city. In the same city there is a palace that we took a tour in. It has a cool fresco painting on the ceiling but in this palace we are not able to take pictures so we bought a book for Wurzburg and it has pictures of the inside of the place. It was a lot of fun.
